Being a huge Aquaman fan, one of the only comics I'm actually caught up with these days, I really want to make my way through a few of his characters. I've fixed up a few renditions of Tempest, Aqualad, and even tried Aquaman himself, though I'm not completely satisfied with my first attempt at him. But, I've wanted to make Black Manta for ages. I took the McDonald's figure and cut it's head off. Did some sanding, then glued it to the body, adding some sculpt to smooth out the gaps and edges. Used some plastic for the additional fins on the back of his legs, and gave him a full black repaint over that. I hope to make an additional rendition of him later, adding more details, but I thought this was cool for a start at trying him out.
