Thanks for looking peoples, this is my first submission to this fine site (Ha! submission - get it? ... nevermind...) so be gentle, but hope you like.
It's a character I wanted to do for a while and wanted to do the full GiJoe costume, but since the rules here say it had to be the wrestling get-up, I guess I'll have to modify him later (camo legs and GiJoe logo basically?)
So I used the WWE Big Show figure as a base, sculpted the nose and the bottom half of the face, replaced his right hand with another WWE hand and cut the finger off the fist and sculpted a pointing finger in place. The Title belt came from maybe Batista?
All other bits were scratch-built:
Hat = Sculpey for the top, old credit card for the brim, electric wire (sheathed and bare) for the belt bit, and wire for the Sgt. stripes.
Whistle = Crushed tin foil and bent wire glued onto cord.
Cane = Tube from inside a Bic pen, sculpted tips.
Wrist bands = black elastic fabric (and glue)
Belt = Black fabric with elastic bit at back, bent wires for the front hook, and stuck some sculpted pockets around (plus a bottle cut off an Al Simmons figure).
Glasses = Bent wire glued around clear plastic painted on the back for the lenses.
The backdrop is an image on my monitor with a strategically placed white tee-shirt for Sarge to stand on so it looks like the canvas.
All the paint is a mixture of Vallejo and Citadel.

Hope you like him but I'll appreciate any ideas for improvements or just biting critiques if you can.
Cheers for looking!

COOL St Slaughter! I'd love to see him in his GI Joe attire, but he turned out excellent! Welcome to the Realm!

Love the glasses and the hat! Making my own glasses out of bent wire for a wrestler entry that I did not complete in time, so tricky to get them to scale to the face and fit right to allow removal, awesome job on building them so perfectly

Aw thanks dude, but a confession: I had to eventually tie the sides of the glasses together at the back of the head with cotton since they kept falling down his nose!

This is the best sargeant slaughter I've ever seen. Great attention to detail and good work on the glasses. Should win the contest.
