This guy is my first custom and considering this was going to be my first attempt at dremelling, sculpting, and painting, I wanted to do something that wouldn't be so "throw my toys outta the pram." I saw this simple design on here - and love Sunspot - and figured this would be the best way to go.

The recipe is really simple:

• Body = Protector
• Head = Human Torch

I dremelled, sculpted, painted, and then topped with a semi-gloss so the highlights would be more pronounced.

I had a bit of a trouble with the head as it wasn't compatible with the body. Knowing I was going to keep this one as a "Hey, memories!" figure, all I did was fill the head with apoxie and set it on the base joint. The next day I was able to just carefully twist it and all articulation remained... though it's never coming off!

I had a few problems - the sanding could have been better, as could the sculpting, but I'm really okay with the end result for a first custom.
