Hello my friends , this particular custom marks my 100 post in Figure Realm , so could imagine just special I wanted this guy to be , today I present you an original character for the DC Universe Sinestro Corps. (and possibly for it's leadership). The Ganeshan are a paradoxical race , physically massive and imposing , yet spiritually calm and peaceful they serve other races as "Peacekeepers" maintaining order and balance (even Green Lantern Guardians recognize and respect their authority and laws) rejecting all manner of technology (but not any other things like magic or paranormal powers) and weapons altogether , they are masters of hand to hand combat , and they use their tusk (a manifestation of their warrior spirit) as a samurai would use a sword , incredibly strong and patient , they're the a very noble race , until Darkseid's chief scientific sadist Desaad , kidnap a Ganeshian priestess for a very special and savage experiment , a progeny of evil , using genetics and dark forbidden techniques (after 12 pain full tries) , #13 is a success , and the now pregnant priestess is return to her people dishonored and in a coma , they tried to saved her and her child , but aberration was something they couldn't handle , the "baby" already had a set of sharp tusk point (Ganeshans don't start to develop them until they are 7 years old) , and these little weapons ruptured his mothers internal organs , thus killing her , however his body was very thin , small in stature and strangely silent , named Tusk-Katar (meaning tusk = soul blade and katar = killer) for the way he was born , since his remaining family reject him , he was raised by the government for over 20 years , in thattime it was discovered that contrary to his looks , he was actually 3 times stronger , faster and mentally sharper than the average Ganeshan (plus he could do soothing no other could do because of the extreme weight of their body mass ... He Could Jump! , Really High!!) , spiritually it was the opposite cold calculating brutal and extremely efficient , a perfect strategist , he climbed to the highest rank in the military , willing to do whatever it take for victory , no matter the cost , until finally becoming the Supreme General Commander of his people (their leader) , in his reign the Ganeshans change from being respected to be feared , his never ending thirst for combat and power attracted the Green Lanterns attention , bringing one of the most bloody battles in galactic history , it's said he single handedly killed 3 GLs and badly wounded 17 , defeated and remove from his position , he was rescued (teleported) from his captors by none other than his creator (and father) Desaad , who revealed all the truth of his origin , and for the first time in his life General Tusk smiled!! , everything finally made sense , he was ready to accept his destiny , to rule with an iron fist the universe , to cause as much pain and suffering as possible and to destroy all his enemies , Later on recruited by Sinestro to join his Corps. , one the know Universe most dangerous creatures is armed with one of the Universe's most powerful weapon , let all who stand in his way Fear him!!!. OKAY that was a long story , but necessary for the character , as recipe I used a DCU Sinestro minus his hands and feet and replace with a toy elephants legs (glue on) , cut off the elephants head , back and tail molded and glue them together forming a mask (it was hollow inside) and put over Sinestro's head (it's still under it for support) and glue it in place , finally and to add a real element of power made him a custom base with a banana rack , hot glued all around it and painted all yellow with a marker ,added some bendable wire in his back and hand , again more hot glue and paint , and the result is "My 100 brainchild" , hope you like him , THANKS!!!
