Hello! , while I was waiting for my previous custom to dry (2 days) started making this guy , but decide to painted with a brush and not spray (mistake!!) , used a figure I had bought months ago , but whose body looked fantastically fit , so whom to make , a Superman type would perfect , and checking the web found Tom Strong and Tom Strange (a Terra Obscura alternate version of his , that ironically was created a lot earlier than him , 1940!! and Alan Moore later incorporated in his Tom Strong comic series) so I decided to honor BOTH characters and used elements from the two , painted the upper body red (in the form of a T-shirt) and lower body navy blue (jeans of course) , as for the boots , combine the figure's original ones with it's knee pads to make them look longer and painted them black over (with a marker) to give more shine) , some sideburns in the hair (to add flair) , give a belt, weapons and equipment from my fodder bin and change his hands for black gloves , now all he needed was a cool base , used an old Wolverine one and glue to it this strange alien that I could never fit anywhere in my collection but look very cool as an enemy in the base and match the character(s) adventurous storylines perfectly , articulation was greatly limited the paint chipped away many times over and to repaint a lot!! , so as to NOT touch it at all , I opted to glue his feet to the base , but you know it's best this way , the whole package complements each other very well , so it's now a statue (or diorama) than a figure , and that just fine! , hope you like it and Thanks!!
