At different points, I owned both the Series 2 ML Thor and the Giant-Man BAF series Thor, and was using the Giant-Man BAF Thor in my classic Avengers display (the series 2 Thor sculpt was pretty ugly). As much as I liked the sculpt of GM Thor, it always bugged me that he was the same height as everyone else, so I decided it was time to size up. The only other option was Marvel Select Thor: great size, but his face looked mashed in and his leg articulation sucked. To deal with it, I swapped out his head for ROML Heroic Age Thor (helmet isn't accurate, but I'll fix that later), and I swapped out his upper legs for ROML Wrecker's legs; this switch (plus a little shaving of the hip sockets) gave the figure waaaay better leg movement while still maintaining his height (since Wrecker was easily a Select scale figure to begin with). I also added Revoltech joints in his ankles for improved range and rocker movement to round things out.
All in all, it was an easy mod conceptually, but it does take some work to fit the lower MS Thor knee joints to the Wrecker uppers. After that, just a quick paint job of the new thighs and you're all set. Hope this is helpful to others out there wanting a "god sized" Thor with acceptable articulation in their Legends displays! =)
