So I stripped Lead of his tunic only to find a very awkward gap in the crotch area. I built the area up layer by layer so that I could make sure I would not impede his leg movement too much. I added sculpt to his head, mostly the brow, collar, boots, and cuffs. The shoulder pads came from Leads tunic.(serendipity.) I painted his exposed body black and then went over with varying shades of gray ,dark to light, to give him a rocky look.
