So I wanted to do Will Payton in both his costumes at the same time. No problem. I had two mullet Superman heads to work with, perfect. For this costume, I put the mullet head Superman on a Green Lantern body and all I needed to dremel off was the ring. I had him 90% done when I realized I went off-model on his costume by painting the yellow all the way up his neck. I convinced myself that he looked better that way, seeing as how much of a pain yellow is, I was not looking for a redo.
He looks great as it is bro , (yellow and white are both a pain , and he has both , so fantastic job with the paint), say whatever happen to him? (after the 80's I kinda lost track of Will) , very cool bro , love it!
They killed him off, and then Robinson used him in his Starman storyline with Jack Knight. It turns out the energy that hit Will was actually Prince Gavyn. So, Will died in that instant replaced unknowingly by Prince Gavyn, and then he was killed and the energy that was Prince Gavyn returned to space....or something like that.
