This was a random attempt a couple of weeks ago. Amidst trying to think of Spiderman related characters, I stumbled across Morbius' animated look. While grabbing some reference pictures, I then came across animated images of the Goblins. I liked the smooth, lack of chainmail look, oddly enough, and opted to give it a shot. I really wanted to fix up a variation of Green Goblin, but only had a Hobgoblin head on hand, so I went with him instead. A better head option and a longer cape and I think he would look perfect. Too bad all the Green Goblin heads look about as weird.
Yeah, that did cross my mind. It isn't a bad look, but the figure is a bit more expensive. Still holding out to find a nice cast. Thanks for the compliment!
This one looks even better than the factory one (the only thing to make this even more perfect is that the arms and legs hasn't the net effect, despite some Hobgoblins versions doesn't wear it and they are normal just like the one you made). The paintjob is good too, now he has a better proportion and more articulation. Excellent work!
