Bacchus or Dionysus is actually the first representation of Jesus. His full name was Yehashewa Ben Pantera. Literal Greek translations of NIT bible say he rode into town on a panther...not so much an a$$. Bacchus as you know rode around on a panther, was the only begotten of Zues. After being lead away to his doom by the Titans and eaten...Zeus slayed the Titans and from their ashes created the Human race. Bacchus...was also the inventor of wine...transmuted through water.

I only knew that he was the god of wine and intoxication, very cool that his story goes deeper. Thanks for the info!
