Sorry for going MIA folks. Took a lil time out to deal with some personal issues but back and ready to whup butt!
Obvious but effective recipe with a Wings twist. Swapped the fists for Moonstone and the head and heels with Black Cat. The sash is from the original Warbird along with darice around the waist. The hair was built up with darice craft foam strand by stand to keep it light and not affect the articulation.
Beautiful work all around. I don't always like the darice foam hair, but this is really nice. It looks cartoony but natural. One of my fave Warbirds and there's some great ones out there.
I've only been on this site for a month now and I think its safe to say all of you have ruined me. This figure is one of the best I've seen so far, I'm only on my fifth custom. I use to look around toy stores for figures that look no where near as good as what I've seen on the his place. I don't even look any more, now I look at figures in stores for parts to make better ones lol. Awesome job on this figure there's only been one other I wanted to copy now I guess this makes two. Lol
That's how I started so many years ago - I wanted to recreate what people like Kyle Robinson and Jin Saotome were making. It's always awesome to see new people get into the hobby. Thanks for the comments too!
This is absolutely stunning! I've been contemplating making Mrs Marvel out of my spare Black-Cat, now I defenitly want to! I don't know if I can pull it off like you did though! Just that hair is so fabulous!!!! It's beautiful, stunning, and every other flattering word!
