This is my concept Green Ranger for a ranger reboot. In this story, Rita recovers the Green Ranger powers after Tommy betrays her. She is forced to flee from Lord Zedd after he arrives to punish her for her failure. Living in exile on earth, and with the loss of most of her power, Rita has no choice but to assume the powers of the Green Ranger to defend herself as Zedd relentlessly hunts her. She is forced to assist the Power Rangers whenever they are in trouble, as they are her only hope of defeating Zedd and reclaiming her throne.

I wanted to create a custom of a female green ranger after being inspired by the MMPR fan films being made. I wanted to create a figure with similar articulation to the regular armored rangers being sold. I hit upon the idea of Rita Repulsa assuming the role of Green Ranger and being forced to help the rangers she wants to destroy herself. I redesigned the helmet and suit, adding more of a mystic appearance rather than straight spandex. I wanted to show that Rita is still partially a sorcoress, and with her magic, I figured she would'nt need to summon the Dragonzord with a flute, and redesigned the dragon dagger to be more of a short sword. The shield is removable in case repairs are needed, and the head attaches with magnets, as I intend to add an unmasked head for her.
