My first attempt at a Cap zombie became a project with my two 5-year-old boys. They wanted a decayed look for the toy. All exposed skin was painted grey. Using my exacto knife, I cut a chunk out of the top of his head. Next, I broke out my soldering iron and began aimlessly melting away random spots. On his left leg, I added a broken toothpick to simulate exposed bone. His abdomen and lower back were treated to some Krazy Glue and red paint to give him an eviscerated look. The same method was used for the top of his head. His mouth was melted and painted red for obvious reasons. My boys wanted something more, so I burned 3 claw marks into his chest and his back and told them he'd been in a fight with Wolverine. For the rest, I used some red, brown and black paint on his costume and shield. Now the kids have a zombie epidemic on their hands! The next step: Marvel Zombie Hunters.... ![]() |
