Hello Realmers, today I bring you a MOTUC's version of Mortal Kombat's Scorpion. Since I've spent a few bills playing the MK games since the original standup arcade game, I knew I would eventually have to make a few crossovers for my MOTUC collection. Scorpion is composed of MOTUC Scareglow head, Blade upper body, arms, thighs and armor, Zodak shin armor, and He-Man feet. Swords and daggers were taken from my childhood 1985 Ninja Assassin figure and repainted. Scorpion's Kunai is from my Jazwares 20th anniversary Scorpion with customized posable chain rope. The Kunai chain was made from generic metallic spring-like necklace pieces with 16 gauge copper speaker wire running through the middle. Basically, this was just swapping and repainting of parts and finding and making weapons to fit Scorpion. I really like how my Kunai came out and was pleased with the overall look of this unmasked MOTUC version of Scorpion using obvious parts but still paying homage to the famous yellow ninja outfit. Thanks for looking and hope you like him because there are tons of awesome Scorpions here on the Realm!
Thanks for the Scorpion props and Sub-Zero too! I've been wanting to put this guy together since I saw Blade's reveal pics last year. I thought he would be a cool, different look for Scorpion. Scorpion was always my go to character when I played the game. Great arcade memories! Thanks again everybody!
WOW! You really make the most awesome MOTUC crossovers! As a MOTU fan and an MK fan I'd really want a set like this for myself too. Great parts choices and painting on both Scorpion and Subzero!
Thanks man! I really wanted to do this guy. I've been wanting to make a skeleton warrior for awhile in MOTUC form besides the usual characters, then I remembered MK and Scorpions unmasked look. I don't know what took me so long, other than I didn't know what ninja outfit I wanted, but I decided on an armored look like some ninjas or samurai have!
