After debating on buying the Evasion Optimus Prime, I decided to buy 2 of them. I took the pipe stack off, used an exacto knife and cut the pipe stacks off and switched them around and superglued them to the base and sanded the other side and superglued it to the window and presto....I give you my G1 version of Optimus Prime. By the way...it goes awesome with the DOTM trailer.

I live in Cambridgeshire. And thanks but I'm not into constructobots. Not my thing. Toy-wise I'm only into the movie stuff (and a very, very few G1 Generations) and I still own the Powermaster Prime from my childhood (sold the others off but I had a very sentimental attachment to that one).

Am in UK here where the Voyagers are £24.99 for the new movie whereas for the 2007 one they were £15.99 and they were bigger back then too. They've steadily gotten more expensive and smaller in their size classes with each film. Also it seems most toy stores here are only stocking the simplistic (though admittedly fun in their way) toys that only have one or a few steps to change them. Quite hard to find the proper figures.

Try the Constructbots. They are even awesome. As you probably saw on my screen name, I added a few of them on here....like the Armada Megatron and Galvatron, G1 Megatron and Scorponok. BTW, what part of the UK? I was stationed around the Harrogate area back in 1999 to 2002 in the US Army.

I have always wanted a G1 Optimus Prime. Since Hasbro did well on their promises....they delivered to us an Optimus Prime. If I was going to sell mine...and he isn't for sell though, I would sell him for 1500 US Dollars

Does look cool with that trailer. Never did see that trailer in stores around here though. I'd quite like to get this figure but the prices seem crazy these days. They've steadily risen when the compare the prices and sizes of the movie figures for each film.

When they came out with the DOTM Deluxe Optimus Prime with trailer, I knew I had to have it to my collection. After they came out with the Evasion mode Optimus Prime, I knew that he would finally complete my G1 Optimus Prime set. I am working on a Megatron with Grimlock's head and the rest the Asia Exclusive Megatron tank body...with modified Plasma cannon that is on my green Megatron custom that I have on this sight.
