So, seeing how DC never did a story back in the Silver Age featuring an evil Crime Syndicate type team who were counterparts to the JSA, I decided to continue that with an equivalent of Wildcat that I have dubbed Hellcat. I have theorized that his secret identity is Ted Grande, ex-heavyweight boxer and muscle for the mob, and he is a member of a team called the Crime Assembly of America.
The figure was a fairly simple piece to do. I took a DC Universe Classics Battle for Earth 3 boxset Johnny Quick and used the boil and pop method to remove the head, forearms, and lower legs. Next, I used the boil and pop method to attach the forearms and lower legs from a DC Universe Classics Wildcat. With the body now reassembled, I commenced a full repaint using Testors Model Masters Insignia Red. Once the body was fully repainted, I gave it two generous coats of Flat Clear. Next, I gave the Wildcat head a full repaint with the Testors Model Masters Insignia Red, followed by two generous coats of Flat Clear. Once the head had fully dried, I attached it to the body, and TA-DA...Hellcat, evil parallel universe counterpart of the Earth-2 Wildcat and member of the Crime Assembly of America!!!
Please let me know what you guys think of him, and as always, comments are appreciated.
