They became he, and decided to combine their names, in a showing of solidarity; the entity called itself Drake Burroughs. This entity would be better known as ERG-1, and then later as Wildfire."

I really liked how in the mid-90's the reboot of the LOSH turned out, especially Wildfire! His origin was much better in the Earth-247 Universe. Pity it was not kept in the New52...
