I'm a much bigger fan of Boba Fetts suit color scheme (and even his blaster) in Return of the Jedi than The Empire Strikes Back, so there was a bit of disappointment for me when ESB is how he was released. Oh well though, easy enough fix.
Sliced off his leg obstructing leg pouches, moved them to a ROTJ accurate side position, and attached them to strips of fabric so they don't obstruct side leg movement. Resculpted the red belt area where they were, and sculpted on two more belt pouches on the brown belt. Modified his rifle by shortening the barrel, beveling the tip, adding styrene strips for detail, and respositioning the scope. After that it was all just a matter of repainting the whole thing. I hand painted his chest and shoulder symbols, because 1) I wanted to see if I could, and 2) I'm too scared of new things to try decals.
I did realize too late I missed an ROTJ detail. In ESB his flamer thrower barrels are exposed for god and the world to see, but in ROTJ, they have a casing over them, which I did not include because I didn't notice there was a difference until I was already done painting him. Oh well.
