After a long hiatus, I'm back with a couple new customs today. Jean Paul Valley debuted back when I was in high school. Back in 2007 when I was first starting out, I did a few versions of this character I was quite pleased with. Fast forward 7 years later, I thought it was time to revisit. Mattel did finally get around to doing the fully armored version, but I wanted a version of the first suit to go with it.
Azbats is built on the Azrael Batman base. I used an Sinestro Bats head sculpted over, the armored cape piece from an old Hasbro DC Superheroes Az figure. The shoulders came from a DCSH Azrael. Quite a bit of work was done to get them to fit into the DCUC torso. Longshot's bandolier for the leg pouches and a nice bit of paint. Glad to be back. Enjoy.
