Another Absorbing Man for the Realm Roster, this time in a similar style to the giant-sized one I did a while back but in the character's normal height. House of M Hulk base almost entirely sculpted over with Apoxie sculpt. I used colored hot glue for the lava effect on the left arm and earth effect on the right, along with some floral willow and fake evergreen. Ball and chain are a foam ball sculpted over on a decorative chain. Painted using various mixes of Model Masters Acryls and DecoArt. Finally sealed him up with ModPodge and he's ready to go toe-to-toe with The Thunderer. Thanks for looking and God Bless!
Great stuff right here, the dedication to detail to this is amazing. Love how he looks like an explosion of chaos all over his body with different things going on but yet still the form of Absorbing Man, amazing!
Thanks a bunch, the hardest part was not "overdoing" it. I had to stop myself a couple of times to tone it down a bit and keep a suitable mix of textures and paint colors. Looking at some of the original comics I believe I found a good balance.
Daaaaaaaang!! This dude is one ugly mother. He looks awesome bro, I love all the fusions of so many different elements. Great sculpt work, and I really love how you painted him. A true masterpiece!!
Thanks! I was definitely going for that really busted up look. I feel that various artists over the years have made Creel's mug look a bit "softer." In the classic Silver Age books he is more appropriately drawn to character IMO--an ex-boxer turned career criminal.
Thank you, NeCro. The continuous support from you and so many of the other artists who are far more talented than I am really inspires me to always try to step it up!

Scenery is part of the City diorama I'm also working on.
Thanks!
Toughest part there was dremelling off all the rips on the waist to sculpt the belt over.
Thanks for dropping in, Banner/HULK,
