Or toothpicks, they work well for small details and are common enough you can go through allot for cheap.
Other ideas would be using ball point pens for detailing such as eyes or lips, I have found they work quite well.
Not bad though, we looks good!
As for Emma, why don't you start a new post in the "Custom Questions" section, that way everyone on the site can give you some tips
Anyway, you can PM me or anyone else on the site, most of the guys here know a thing or two and I'm sure theyd share

I've been taking your guys advice and it has been really effective. There not perfect, but definitely a lot better. I'm still having trouble with Emma though. Any advice?

Nice group shots dude! Up until recently I had a really hard time with faces, especially eyes, eyebrows and lips. The best thing in the world to use are cocktail sticks or better yet christmas cracker screwdrivers - you know the set of three that have plastic handles? Use the pointer from them with the tiniest touch of paint. Worked for me!

Hey man I really like your work, good conept.
I'm not professional myself but I will try to give you a few tips.
I would recommend to use a smaller brush for the face area, means the eyes, the mouth, eye brows evt hair straines ....
-when u would work a little slower -leaving more time to paint- you would definately get even better results.
another thing let the painted figure completly dry before you put on the next paint coat.
but all in all these are just small tips,
as I said I really dig your work.
keep it up
