I just got done watching 'Wolverine and the X-Men' on Netflix and I really liked seeing Maverick in his old school armor. So much in fact that I decided to try my hand at making a figure for him.

I've had this Batman figure sitting around for a while and I figured I would try using him. I liked the bulky, armored look-it reminisced the classic Maverick look, but it also gave him a cool, heavier style. I figure the man's power was using and releasing kinetic energy, so a heavier, armored look fit really well.

Fairly simple recipe; the head was re sculpted and everything was repainted. He got a backpack from a Halo figure to top off the armor, which was also repainted. I wanted a grittier, worn style to him, so he got a heavy wash and dry brush to give him that battle look. Finally, he was given a sealant coat and a sub machine gun to top him off.
