Ahh. Rolent, my very first World of Warcraft mists of Pandaria figure. This guy was one of the most daunting tasks I have ever taken, since the huge amount of detail and original parts needed were going to be like working on 3 separate figures. The cape and shoulder pads were sculpted in apoxie, then they had to be cast: The cape was cast on a flexible plastic, the shoulders in hard plastic. The hammers were a different animal all on their own, they were sculpted first in wax, without the spider reliefs, then cast and cleaned in hard resin. Each Spider relief had to be individually attached, and painted on every face of the hammer (sides and top) then decorated in a rusty, combat worn look, assembled and tested. Multiply that by 4 and then you have Rolent. The video online shows the many steps taken from beginning to end. Needless to say..it was expensive.
