It's been awhile since I've made something that took some time & effort. Well with 4th of July coming up, I wanted to make something to go with the holiday theme. What better character than someone who blows things up. It was either Mad Stan, or The Mad Bomber from the Gray Ghost episode. I've always wanted to make a Bruce Timm figure, so I killed 2 birds with one stone with the bomber. I've always wanted to make this character, but just never really thought of a good way. After one night of inebriated motivation, I had it all figured out. I used the TNBA mattel Robin. I cut off his legs & replaced them with the TNBA Joker's legs. Then the rest was a lot of reshaping & sculpt work. I wanted him to have accessories that were in the episode, so I gave him a Batman figure ( idea came from another member here ) & I sculpted one of the toy cars that he used for the bombs. I originally was going to make 3 of them but after sculpting the one was such a pain, I kind of tossed that idea out the window. I think the toughest part about this character was his glasses. Didn't really know what I wanted to do with them. My typical way is to sculpt them. I started sculpting & it just didn't look right. So I ended up cutting them out of plastic. I think it turned out alright. Let me know what you all think.
