Princess Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin.
Jasmine lives in a gilded cage. Bored of being confined to the luxurious Palace walls by her protective Father the Sultan, she dreams of a life of freedom and adventure instead of becoming the trophy to one of the pompous arrogant suitors that the Sultan keeps lining up to win the hand of the Jewel of Agrabah. So she beings to learn fighting and defense skills from the palace guards. Paying for their secrecy with jewels and gold from the treasury she soon becomes skilled at wielding a scimitar. One day to Jasmine's surprise, the Sultan declared that she was to wed the Royal Vizier Jafar, a sly and crafty man that she loathed. It was then that she made up her mind to finally escape the Palace walls. Later that night, she seduced and over powered the guard at the gates and runs off into the city of Agrabah. She eventually teams up with a street rat she meets in the market place, a petty thief and criminal named Aladdin. Together they go in search of the magic lamp in the Cave of Wonders and her own adventure begins.

I wanted to make a Classic Disney Princess with a twist, and so here is my sultry, feisty Princess Jasmine. I wanted to keep her classic look with a new take on it, more exotic and sexy. She's still beautiful, still a Princess but now with added scimitar and new back story.
Recipe: Plaster of Paris from The Spirit, with apoxie sculpt harem pants and some applied to bra. Hair is apoxie sculpt over a black cable tie and 3 beads to create Jasmine's famous hair style, it has slight pose-ability. She was fully painted in a mix of acrylics and sealed. Craft gems added as a finishing touch.
The lamp is a green see through bead, with apoxie sculpt applied to make handle and spout. Painted gold but left semi translucent to that light can shine through so it can "glow".

MaxxieJamesCreates, you made really amazing customs for the House of Mouse contest! This Jasmine was my favorite, I think it should've placed higher. This is such a sexy interpretation! The carpet, lamp and all the props in the background really made this an outstanding entry. Great work!
