Hello again , and this one is a special custom statue (sorry zero articulation) , The NEMO Foundation establish more than a 100 year ago by the Legendary and Controversial Captain Nemo , for one reason above all others , to protect the seven seas from mankind (a man way head of his time in so many things), Thru all generations there has always being a flagship like none other in the world and all with the feared , honored and respected name of Nautilus ("The Sword of the Sea") this current version (VII) belongs to Lady Captain Jokarta Ottomari Nemo , the Foundation's current CEO (and Nemo's Grand Daughter) , able to Transform in 3 modes (robot warrior , sail yacht and marine serpent) at beck and call of it's master as her personal vessel and bodyguard , and a charter member of the The Graymen by default along Miss Silvermoon (Nemo's Cabin Girl / Executive assistant) , the 3 are always together (but that's a story for tomorrow!). This took a long time to make because I needed a simple yet really big (not to mention affordable!) , thankfully the new Transformers movie solved my problem in the form of a 16 inch Grimlock (was tempted tog et OP , but he was too iconic , plus Grimlock already had Gray colors on him , less painting!) , as I was about to pay for him , I notice a small plastic sailboat (you know the cheap ones for kids to play in the pool) and really like the big yellow sails (look like wings of sort) and bought 2 of them just for curiosity (at $2 each , why not!) , it wasn't until I got home that I got the idea of adding them to the robot , at first I tried the double sails alone as wings ,but couldn't find a right fit , and then it hit me again , he's suppose to be an aquatic vessel in the first place so kit bash time , only one problem the boats plastic was oil based and my normal glue would not adhere at all , rather than give up , went for option "B" , hot glue! (a bit more messy , but it worked nicely!) , once I glued the main body of one the boat also glued the sails side by side , it looked great , but the legs seem a bit bare , so I took a gamble and actually cut in half (as best as I could manually) the other boat and glued to the legs as well , the change was incredible , and to make everything cohesive painted in violet part of the bot and boats (also painted in gray) and added some gold as well to match the already great golden paint in Grimlock (too cool to not use) , still need sealing .but that will be done tomorrow , so he will be even shinier than now (it's suppose to be metal , so the shinier the better , I hope!), well guys tell me what you think and I promise more tomorrow about Nemo and Silvermoon , Thanks!
