Mattel made a toyline for the original Battlestar Galactica, but it never featured Apollo. Since then other companies have made toylines, but still no real Apollo that fits in with the original line. I took a Luke Skywalker as he appeared in the the medal ceremony and started there. I hand sculpted a new head in the style of popular 70's action figures. I then made the jacket and holstered side arm. This is the 2nd Apollo I've made, the first was when I started sculpting and kind of tough.
I have designed a blister card and will attach him to it. When I have him attached I'll update with new photos.
Ok sure I liked Starbuck a bit more but you can't have one without the other. Just ain't right. Well, at least you're correcting that mistake of theirs.
I could never pick a favorite between them, but I agree, you need them both. Thank you I appreciate you guys commenting. I know sometimes older characters can be hit or miss. The show was before my time, but my older brother introduced me when I was a younger to a lot of 60s-70s scifi and horror.
