The new Batgirl series isn't even out yet and already, the costume design by Cameron Stewart and Babs Tarr has become very popular. The concept is that it's more functional and cute than purposefully titillating and that has gotten the approval of many fans. I decided I wanted to make a custom figure of this look and used Hope Summers as a base. Removed the lower legs, replacing them with those from a movie Invisible Woman figure. Dremelled off the top of the hair from a Sydney Savage head and sculpted over it to make the cowl. I cut off the feet and drilled a hole in the lower legs, so I could attach the Doc Martens from a Twilight Victoria to them. Sculpted on the glove cuffs and the leather jacket, carving in the Bat symbol and the zippers and seams. The belt was cobbled together from an Artemis belt, a Cyclops satchel and an Agent Diana Prince belt. Cut the cape from a piece of craft pleather; it's two-ply because I had to paint the inside yellow. Painted it all up. Thanks for looking!
