Another for the Hydra army this time it is Arnim Zola right hand and twisted mind to Hydra and The Red Skull. I never liked this baf... or i should say never like Zola's color combo so when I started this Hydra army i thought i have to have him in it, so i gave him a upgraded paint job worthy of Hydra and one of thing is all the gold trim instead of the yellow i like it better gives him a above all else feel. I hope ya all like it HAIL HYDRA!!!!!!!!!!

How did you get the paint looking so good? How did you thin it? And did you sand down the base figure?

Thank you! it's a lot of dry brush over flat black seems to help the paint stay thinner as to not rub off the joints, also that way I did not have to thin it down. As fare as prep goes I work in a body shop so I may have a OCD to go over the top lol but it's just dish soda water combo and a red scotch bright followed by a tooth brush scrub with new soap and water then I pull the figure apart and re prep everything with a gray scotch bright I try to get all the shiny off and if I have to grind the joints I use a bit of bumper primer.... Seems like much but I don't have any problems with flake
