"The Abomination, one of Dr Frankenstein's experiments. A crude binding of flesh and machinery to create a killing machine. Sent on missions where the outcome needs to be slaughter and destruction, not much can stand it's way with it's huge bionic inhanced claw and plasma cannon. The reaper will have his work cut out for him when he meets this engine of death."
This custom started out as an experiment in fusing different toy parts to see what I came out with and ended up being my favourite custom yet, it was so much fun to build. the parts used are bionicle and lego parts and some BAF green goblin parts for the flesh parts. The head and additional flesh parts were sculpted from green stuff and electrical wires were used too. Thanks to the bionicle parts this thing has great articulation and can get into all sorts of poses. The wires going into the torso and neck arent glued in so they don't hinder articulation in those areas. In it's nuetral crouched pose it stands at 9 inches but when stood up straight it is just over 12 inches. I am very proud with how this has turned out, comments and criticsm welcome as always, thanks for checking it out.
Wow! It's very cool how you managed to incorporate skinny and complex mechanism parts in the lower section of the body. Is it stable enough? Do the legs support the weight well enough?
Thank you yes he stands very well, the crouching pose I have him in is just how I imagine he would stand normally but he can stand fully outstretched without any problems, even better than figures I've bought in some cases
Dude, seriously, you're making us all llook like amateurs and copycats with your originality. Keep it up. And btw, I am definitely for sure going to pilfer this recipe because my youngest was a Bionicle fanatic and I saved most of his old Bionicles.
sorry for such a late reply, didn't even realise you'd commented. Thank you for the compliments though man, bionicles are so cool to build with, I wish I'd kept all of mine from when I was younger
Such a chaotic yet beautifully made custom here my friend! love the rawness to it and how it's very bare bones, great way to utilize the bionicle joints. Amazing
I have a criticism,..you made him TOO AWESOME!!! Dude, seriously, this is an amazing figure. I could go on and on but let me just say,..GREAT idea for a figure, AMAZING execution,(this figure is remarkably clean),and I look forward to seeing more of your original works!
