Hello guys , today I bring you a New group of villains "Dragon's Blood" lead by Morgan Le Fay and consisting of the most powerful supernatural beings in the planet , seeking the return of the Age of Magic and the downfall of science and technology , her newest recruit from the Exotic City of New Orleans (U.S.A.) saw the evil of her intentions and refuse her offer and rather decided to join the Agents of Gaia to stop her , I present to you Marie Catherine Laveau born in New Orleans on September 10, 1801. The Voodoo Queen of New Orleans. In all times, in all places, no one has ever risen to the statue or fame in Voodoo as Marie Laveau. Famed in history, infamous in folklore and ever present, even today.

Folklore and later newspaper accounts, however, confirm that she was the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans for at least 40 years from the 1820’s to the 1860’s. As she withdrew with age by the 1870’s it was alleged her daughter, called Marie Laveau II, succeeded her. Very late in life newspapers found her in her home on St. Ann Street and began to celebrate and exploit her as he leader of the mysterious and sensational Voodoos.

Folklore tells us she was exceptionally beautiful, that she got rich selling gris-gris, that she could intimidate he police and that world leaders sought her advice. The stories tell of how she danced with a snake and presided over blood drenched rituals. Traditions claim she was well known at the “quadroon balls” that she used blackmail, that she was a hairdresser and domestic informant, that she ran a house of prostitution, that she could “fix” court cases and cheat the executioner, that Voodoo powers caused she deaths of at least one Governor and one Lieutenant Governor and that she, herself, never really died. Basically, she got the credit, and the blame, for almost every unexplained major event. Her spirit still gets such credits and every real, or would be, Voodoo Queen since has claimed her anointment.

In recent times her folklore and history have been expropriated to reshape her as an abolitionist, a feminist, a spiritualist, a revolutionary, an activist and an icon of many new causes.

Today, it is not in the least unusual to hear from people who attribute both favors and miracles to her intercession. Not unlike the Saints, her spirit still listens and blesses with humanity, justice and love. In all Voodoo, in all places, in all times, she is the Queen.

Now her spirit guards and protects this world by possessing members of her own lineage and transforming them temporally into a zombie warriors with her soul in control (no pain , no fear and an undying body capable of self healing (even from death!) while possessed by Marie Laveau's spirit but only for a short time (24 hours max or the host dies!) , The snakes are actually Loa spirits , each with a specific special ability that can be loan to the host , often mistaken as villains because of their religion and looks , they are in reality this planet greatest allied protectors , long live the Queen , Marie Laveau , The Eternal Voodoo Queen!!

Recipe : body base is WWE Diva Naomi almost full skin tone painted , took off her hair and exchanged with an Evil Ash (army of Darkness) skull helmet connected to a cloak spine from a Spawn figure , change her lower legs for a ML black Cat legs and a ML Boomerang's feet , the rest were random pieces from the fodder bin add some cool looking rubber snakes for flavor and a torch spear as a weapon and painted her arms and legs in red and white for matching ,well here hoping you like her and later guys , Thanks!

This was the opposite of the Tex Arcana character , I wanted a heroine whose first impression was that of villain ,even if she only did good things , people would not understand and fear her power and looks , and still she would be a good person no matter what!

You just keep on keeping on with this project! Amazeballs! a suggestion, very minor. I would like to see the bony carapace of her midsection blackwashed and painted white to match the skull on her head and bring out the details. I hesitate to make any suggestions that sound critical, as I continue to be a huge fan of the project!

Actually it's a good idea , but dry brush and blackwash are techniques I haven't mastered yet , also I would have to do so to the arms and legs too (not to mention I hate using white paint) , I promise that when I'm more experienced with the technique it will be done my friend!

Thanks Curly! , you got your good days and you bad ones , and today has been really bad (God everything hurts) , this is the main reason I do so many at a time when I'm feeling good , 'cause when it hits you , all you can do is ride the pain , take your meds and rest a lot , the research is my way to show respect to either the character or the real person that inspired it's creation .

Another perfect addition to the Dragon's Blood, a Voodoo Queen! Your original line is like no other ever seen in comic books or films. What a great concept to take history, folklore and myths and put a spin on them the way you do. This custom has all the right elements. I really dig the snakes and skull on her.

Thanks Ric! , Actually she refuse to join the Dragon's Blood , something that Le Fay took personally , and became an Agent of Gaia , I'm merely connecting the dots and giving the a little twist here and there , the snakes were a last minute addition , but really sold the concept!

Yeah! and talk about backfire , if Morgan had left her alone , Marie would have continued to be a peaceful spirit , but now that she knows of Le Fay's Evil plan , she had to do whatever was necessary to stop her , thus she offer her services to Gaia , even if her past wasn't as nice as one would like from a hero , "the enemy of my enemy is my ally"!

What I love here is the research you have put in. It's great to see voodoo portrayed in a positive light, all too often it is confused with only dark magic. The loas are a nice touch and I love her fire spear.

Thank you my friend! , Religion is relative thing , what's holy for one , it's just folklore to another , still it should be respected and acknowledge as that's person personal and cultural belief , good or bad are things we humans are all the time , both , not just one and we applied those ideas to everything!

Well done Larry . Nice color contrasts. Great use of the now legendary WWE base. You are definitely one original SOB. One question though, where do the snakes wrapped around your new creation materialize from. Also, is this the reason why she looks so happy. Now excuse me while a smack you over the back of the cranium with a plank of wood, nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.
