I found a new model kits series from Bandai called Sprukits at K-Mart yesterday. The best way to think of these are Gundam kits but out of various licensed characters. I grabbed the Halo kit of Commander Sarah Palmer (not to be confused with Laura Palmer). Kit ends up being 5" tall and sets perfect with McFarlane Halo figures.
The kits is fine by its own but with some nifty paint apps can look amazing. The kits is a dull grey and a glossy black. I repainted the entire figure starting with a black wash. I then drybrushed the entire figure with Ceramic White. Once the white set I proceeded to add a silver drybrush. The figure was finally topped with numerous washes (Burnt Sienna, Black, Dark grey, and a Gloss Black).
