Good Evening Realmers! Tonight's submission is my second version of Cyclops, this time in his Jim Lee 90's costume. Jim Lee was the man back in the 90's. X-men#1 debuted back when I was in high school. I recall buying all the multiple covers back in the day. While I prefer his classic suit better, this was a commission and I tried my best to do it justice on the DCUC buck.
He started out as a DCUC Guardian figure with the head from a ML Cyclops figure. Anytime I can use a base body with the colors I need for the custom goes along way to minimize, if not eliminate paintrub. I used styrene to make the majority of the details with a few odds and ends along the way. Sportsmaster's belt, Flash style feet and a custom paintjob later...Cyk was ready for display.
