So I wanted a Snake figure with more articulation, but with a certain amount of realism to the figure as well. I also wanted to do it as pre - Escape From New York, right after he lost his eye in the "Leningrad Ruse" mentioned in the film. Decided that Marvel legends wasn't the route I wanted to take. Soooo. Head swapped, sanded off some of the lines in the forehead to make him look younger, repaint job on the face. Used an Expendables 2 Gunner Jensen/Dolph Lundgren body. Repainted the arms to match the face. Repainted the bandana to be reminiscent of the urban camouflage pants he later wears in EFNY. Added the bullet belt from fodder, painted the tips and ends copper with Tamiya Color metallic acrylic. The gun was also fodder, originally silver, painted it black with Tamiya Color green over a base of Citadel chrome/silver mix to give the gun’s sight a ‘tech’-y night vision look.
