Good evening Realmers! Back with another v2 edition, tonight's custom is my second take on Wolverine, this time featured in his brown suit! Not only that, this custom comes with a second head, so he can be displayed with or without his mask. Slightly different recipe than the first time around. Catman's suit color was the inspiration. Since I had a headless Catman buck laying around, I got to work. While the metal claws are a nice touch, this time I went with the standard production ones mainly due to their nice shape. The heads were from the casting cave, painted up to match. Those guys do great work, also got the pulled down cowl from them. Doing the boots is never easy, but I managed to replicate the same look my v1 Wolverine boots had with a little sculpt work here and there. All in all, pretty pleased with how he turned out. Thanks for stopping by and leave a comment if you like. Catch you next time, bubs.
Brilliant! looks like a John Byrne drawing. Man, your Marvel to DC conversion is fantastic. The DC bodies suit the marvel characters so well. I don´t know why, but it doesn´t work for me the other way around. Great job as usual.
Citadel are really nice. Model masters I've always used but what I don't like are Tamiya. I tried some of those out a few years ago and I hate 'em. Folks like them, but I'm one of bunch that doesn't. Good luck!
Awesome! Nice choice of base, too. Something about your take on this Wolvie really brings me back to the old Clairmont days, after the Phoenix Saga, like maybe "From the Ashes" period. I love it!
