My idea was for a younger more streamlined Cable. I tried to envision what it would be like growing up in a post-apocalyptic world. To me that meant scurrying around for food and shelter through the tight quarters of collapsed buildings and rubble. He would be hungry and constantly on the move which would require freedom of movement and less bulk.

I used a Cap 2 Winter Soldier base with a modified movie Steve Rogers head. I had to dremel out the head slightly to fit and added a screw in the neck ball joint to add height and allow his head to have full range of motion. I used a shouder strap, belt and holster(dremeled and glued in place) from an X-Men classics Cyclops and other weapons and accessories came from various things in my fodder bin. I followed this up with a custom repaint using cool tones and a touch of red. Cable was my first real foray into customs and he was a lot of fun to make.
