This is one of those customs that I kept modifying until my level of skill caught up with my original vision. Originally I wanted to make a 7-inch version of the Sideshow Luke Skywalker. The head is shrunk down from the sideshow version (by glassman) the jedi tunic was made for me a couple of years ago by jsawlen. I sewed the tunic out of some material from an old under armor shirt.
All of the costume elements are removable (except for the jumpsuit) so that I can re-create Luke's looks from ROTJ. Sewing the jumpsuit was tough because it was made in three separate pieces. I sewed the main suit, then put a wire in the collar and sewed over that, and created a wire frame for the front panel and sewed over that. The body underneath is a DCC PowerRing
Wow, really nice work! I love the head and the gear is fantastic. I also like the fact that you DID essentially scale down the sideshow figure. Really, fantastic work!
Thank you sir! This custom has really been in the planning phases for years now. However, now that I've figured everything out, I've done a few more in this scale. I have a finished Dark Empire Luke, a WIP Bespin Han and a Palpatine all on the way!
