I love wolverine, and one of my favorite looks is from Jason Aaron’s ‘Wolverine and the X-Men. I packed this figure with tons of details that show off his look in that book including the brown pouch belt, lace up boots, and armored forearms and theighs. I also shortened the ears on his mask and changed the expression on his face to one of bad ass instead of that dopey look Hasbro gave him. I actually tried to get it to resemble Clint Eastwoods scowl. Logan here also has real metal claws! And all of his yellow stripes are raised, sculpted detail, as is the his armored sections. Enjoy!
Holy cow this is good! Subtle changes take this to new heights! I feel like I may need to spruce up mine now too! Excellent work and I really like the sculpting work on the forearms and legs.
What made you use the upper calf and knee cap of the ultimate cap fig, instead of using wolverines? Did the peg not fit the boot? Also are you experiencing any paint rub on that knee joint? I'm very curious and want to copy this recipe as I am a huge fan of Jason Aaron's run, as well as Nick Bradshaw's design.
You know, that's a great question. I know there was a reason, but I can't remember. It did have something to do with the boots. No paint rub, I prepped it. Thanks!
