Zzzax is an enemy of the Hulk that has also fought Iron Man. It is an energy absorbing sentient being made of electricity. Zzzax can absorb a huge amount of electrical energy from power plants or even the small amount of electricity that comes from within a human brain.
For this custom, a movie Kilowog was combined with the mouth and jaw from Validus. The twisty things from action figure packages were added all around the body. Then it was painted 3 different shades of yellow and fluorescent yellow. The last picture is from a Marvel character card of Zzzax that shows its modern version and also has a small picture that shows its more classic look.
Very very cool Zzax, Banner! I really like the way you "thought outside the box" when making this one. Very inventive way to create electrical effects! This figure was rated highly by me, too
Ric, this one is incredibly well done. From top to bottom. Love how the paint job turned out. Just surprised this didn't rate as a close second to Livewire.
I thought for sure you would win the whole thing with this guy Banner, not that other guy that made Livewire..wait that was you too! haha great job, this custom couldn't be done any better! And congratulations on both!
Thank you for your compliments Jedd! This base had a big and irregularly shaped form that I planned on using for Zzzax, and an electricity themed contest finally pushed me to try completing it. Glad you liked it.

That's cool! Also the wirey thingies make him look like he's being zapped by Ghostbusters proton streams which would be a nice thing to do on some ghost figures for Ghostbuster figure collections. Totally unrelated to this character obviously but I feeling inspired now. :P Good luck with the contest!
