One of my favorite parts of the Star Wars universe is that there are a ridiculous amount of characters and stories to tell. With a world so big and with so much history and time in it, there's nearly limitless potential. I have had a few of these extra 12 inch Jango Fett figures around for a while and I decided it was time to use one up. For this figure, I wanted to capitalize on the movie lore and create a character based off of a Clone Trooper. In this case, this particular trooper, with the formation of the Empire, was either released from service (or more likely deserted) and is now living a new life. I wanted to kind of keep his story ambiguous though-what is he now? A bounty hunter? Mercenary? Or just a simple farmer? Everything was pieces and parts from my fodder bin. Clothes are all cloth and the boots are rubber. The gun was originally a GI Joe gun I added parts and pieces too to make it look more futuristic and then repainted and dinged up a bit. Figure comes with gun and vibroblade for weaponry. As an extra note, I tried to keep more of an Original Trilogy look to his clothes. In my opinion, the clothes and designs of the characters clothes look more 'real' in the original trilogy. I think both time and technology played a part, but the clothing designs in the newer movies definitely look more ornate and 'high budget' movie made. Original Trilogy clothing had more of a 'on the budget', modified Goodwill, simpler look, which is what I wanted to keep here instead of making him look too streamlines and future techy. ![]() |
