Hoo boy, where do I begin with this one. This started life as a New Goblin, then became Red Robin, then a rather unsightly Sonic the Hedgehog, then finally it became the Hero of Time. Fortunately there was none of the original surface detail left so I had a great base to build upon. I spliced in the gloves and boots from Marvel Legends Cannonball. The head came to me courtesy of a Target exclusive Max Steel figure (I bought a duplicate to use for Peter Parker.) The clothes were made of various cloth and felt scraps. The harness was leather scraps with a chain link for the buckle. The belt, bow and quiver (not pictured) were donated by LOTR Legolas. The Master Sword and Hylian Shield were from a necklace set ordered on eBay, painted to look more game-accurate. A touch of craft porcelain for the ears and a small Triforce on the left glove, and the hat is cloth scrap stuffed with down, with a wire stitched in at the seam for a bit of articulation. The shield can attach to both the right forearm and the back via magnets, and a bit of an articulation sacrifice via superglue gives Link a hand strong enough to wield the Master Sword. He may not look perfect, but I'm happy with him, and he makes a nice addition to my video game heroes collection, which you guys will see more of in the coming months. Cheers!
