simply added teeth turned into horns and apoxie to form is teeth face burned the hands to reshape them into two claws hands and foam craft for its belly spikes. thats about it ^^ ho and of course lava platform ^^
Pretty cool. I started sculpting Chthon one time, years ago, but quit when I was about 80% done because I lost interest. A tiny little marine accessory, to go along with the creature, to give a sense of scale, would have been neat.
I don't like boss fights where you have to perform some unrelated task instead of actually fighting. In the case of Chthon, that involves running over a couple of activation plates to lower some diodes and give him electroshock therapy--lame. I'd rather slug it out with him with my firearms, but you can't.
your right quake 1 does that and from a id software game its shoking atleast quake 2 fixes that ^^ but the mission pack of quake 1 as a resembling monster and these you do shoot them ^^
