I use my kitchen oven. 275 degrees for 15 minutes on any amount of a figure usually does the trick. I would like a small one though.

Yup, the dryer works. But be prepared to waste lots of time and electricity holding the figure and the dryer if you want to cook something over 1/3 of an inch thick Anything thicker, then an oven would be better. Do you use the big oven or one of those small conventional ones? I've never used an oven to cure the sculpey, just a kiln in 5th grade...and that was terrifying

hair dryer huh? I will have to try that out. ML night Ranger would be sweet. I lick my fingers when smoothing the cuffs for a nice score. Thanks for the compliment about them.

I don't have that many problems with the sculpey because mostly I just fill in little nicks and scrapes. I don't stick it in the oven though, I use a hairdryer on the maximum setting and that hardens it just as well since the layers are so thin. You can get smooth finishes with any clay/sculpey/epoxy if you put a little water on your finger and smooth it out. Those cuffs you made look like they were from another figure!
I'm going to make a ML version of my Night Ranger as soon as I finish my current Shinobi custom x_X

His hands are pefect proportion, I love the way the cuffs terned out. I need some self hardening clay instead of sculpey. I can't afford nice epoxy but baking my figurs always scares me. you should use the head and bandanna from that silly night ranger dude you made with your wolverine parts.
If any one has any ideas for an affordable self curing clay that will match the texture of an actual figure let me know.
