I started off with a modern DP head cast from CastingCave. Then i got an infinite cyclops marvel legends from my local comic shop and popped the head off that. I chose cyclops because he is a mix of bucky cap and marvel legends deadpool body parts. With all the new deadpool customs out with the huge shin high boots, I wanted to make something more traditional. after fitting the head on the body with a little resculpting, I but on the base coat of paint. I used a white base coat instead of black because i feel like it helps hold the original color of the outer coat. I used reeves acrylic and citadel paint. I then made the harness out of the rubber covers from and xbox controller cable. I used the same method for the straps, cuffs, holsters and buckles. I scavenged the weapons from my previous deadpool custom ( they were originally from dollar tree figures). My last finishing touch was that i removed his left fist and replaced it with an open hand from a dragon ball z "trunks" figure so he could hold his weapons. I think this is a huge improvement from my firsy deadpool and i am very happy with the outcome.
