Hey guys today i give you Yondu! Ever since seeing Stevid's version on the realm i wanted to give it a try. The base figure of coarse is Star Lord while the head and hands came from a wrestling figure i found on the street lol! Apparently he had been run over numerous times and covered in mud but i thought i could salvage some of the parts so i took it. I basically repainted the entire jacket and clothes, intentionally leaving the inside of the jacket untouched because i liked the contrast it gave to the figure. Sculpted his mohawk, and added a holster from a Fantomex figure to hold his arrow, which is just a repainted toothpick. His color scheme is inspired from a mix of the Disney Infinity figure and my own personal preference. While i know he is not completely movie accurate i am still very happy to finally have this figure in my collection. As always would like to hear some feedback and thanks for looking!
Great job! The head (face expression) adds to the character and looks like the actor in the same time And making a salvager from salvage parts - could it be more appropriate?
I have to admit that this is the most accurate Yondu I have ever seen. Great job using that crappy figure you found on the street. Great job with the mohawk and head choice.
Wow..its funny that whenever I find a broken or worn out figure in the streets nowadays I also try to see what useful parts I can take from it. great idea in using a wwe head because your Yondu fits perfectly with the other GOTG figures
Great salvage work brother and kudos on using the Star Lord as base (very ironic) , in fact he look way better than the Star Lord figure , Awesome! , Well done my friend!!!
