Yellow lines over a black base? Not fun. But, this was one of those designs I had to at least try. Been slowly getting through Future's End, which is rough when you consider all the tie ins and the fact that it is a weekly comic. This is like trying to keep up with all the Green Lantern titles. Anyway, this future variation of Firestorm appears right in the first issue of Future's End, taking his sweet time coming to the aid of Green Arrow. Never really been a fan of Firestorm, but I love the look of this costume. I grabbed a cast head and started to work. Aside from the agonizingly tedious process of adding the lines, I sculpted up the arm and leg pieces, and added shoulder pieces from Nova. Not entirely accurate, but extremely cool looking. In the end, I actually really like how he came out.
