Mockingbird was the final missing figure for my West Coast Avengers team. I used a DCUC Superwoman base with DCUC Power Girl lower legs and boots. Her head comes from a DC Direct Huntress (Hush).
Given the above recipe, this was a relatively easy custom. A little sculpting on the sleeves and the upper torso and some Testors Acrylic paint and I was done.
This is your most attractive custom female. I also like Mockingbird's classic suit from West Coast Avengers. Great work, painting is very clean. She looks perfect!
Thanks Banner. I appreciate the kind words and tend to agree. I have not always been 100% pleased with how some of my female customs have turned out. What I think I have learned over the past year is that with female customs the head choice is so important (more so then with guys) to the success of the figure.
You're right newcollector. On female custom characters even if the body's hot but if the face is not, it just won't be as likeable. You've succeeded in making this Mockingbird sexy and beautiful.
