As some of you may know, I've made a lot of Deadpools in the past. However, a while ago I decided I wasn't going to make any more unless I could do something new or unique with him, because I think we can all agree that there are just too many customs of him around using the exact same recipes, with out really adding anything new or original to the formula. I'm not saying that's not ok for the people who want to make them like that, it's just not something I want to do.
When I saw the Agent figure, it immediately reminded me of the way Deadpool is drawn on some really great covers by Skottie Young, and so I decided to break my prohibition of ol' Wade to make him in that style. Now, I've done a Skottie Young-esque/Animated Deadpool before, but it was based off of a great recipe that someone else had done years earlier, so I don't feel like I'm retreading too much by doing this guy.
I cut off the Agents jacket, and dremeled down his limbs, head, and chest to a more proper silhouette, then got to sculpting with him. Sculpted on all his straps, belts, and pouches, and then scratch built his weapons, holster, and sheaths. Painted him up, and he's all done. Thanks for looking everyone, hope you him.
