I took my original attempt at this and completely reworked it now with the appropriate parts. The only thing that remains from my first attempt is the Darth Maul torso. I replaced the lower torso and arms and legs with that of the Wave 5 Jedi Luke. Even the neck post pops out when you dis-assemble Darth Maul's upper torso leaving a spot for me to place Luke Skywalker's neck and collar into place. The arm/shoulder joints were completely bored out on Maul's upper torso and I trimmed Luke's shoulders down to plugs that just popped into place. Pretty simple over all. I added a soft goods under-tunic on the lower torso in keeping with Hasbro's look.
*** Update: I added a cloak using a brown fabric from a $5 Monk costume from the clearance rack. The hood is wired (*wink FitzJedi) for total control up or down. A fitting addition to this custom.
Nice--that's a LEGIT Luke Skywalker, my friend!! Now we need the cloak! If you aren't going to do it yourself (I suspect you will!!) rickhor49 on ebay has the best jedi robes and is making the cloak soon--I'm sure you can wire it!!
