So, this next guy I've been working on for quite a while now, but I'm happy to say I'm done, and that I think it's the best figure I've ever done, in a lot of different ways. I'm a huge, huge Star Wars fan, and as many Star Wars fan already know, some of the coolest characters in it have been turned out by Bioware with their Old Republic games. Nihilus, Revan, Bastilla Shan, and of course, Darth Malgus.

If you've seen the cinematic trailers for Biowares Star Wars MMO "The Old Republic", then you've seen Darth Malgus tearing it up. I thought his design and his brutality were so, so cool. There's very little art to how he fights, but damn does get the job done.

Anyways, a while back I saw Eniam Rej made a cool Malgus out of ASM2 Electro(go check his out), and since Electros are so easy to find (and Malgus is definitely never getting an official 6" figure) I thought I'd go ahead and do it too.

He's almost entirely an Electro, with a Nick Fury torso joint spliced in to emulate the Black Series style articulation. His boots and hands are from the NECA Prometheus David. I just left the gloves as is because they're so awesome. Pretty much everything else is sculpted, with a few pieces having a styrene base.

I made three heads for him, so he can represent how he looked in the three separate trailers. His respirator head is by far my favorite, but I like the "mid war" one too. His pale head with the eyebrows is pretty boring in my opinion, but what the hell, it was easy to include.

I made his unique saber hilt from a styrene tube with sculpt on it, and styrene for the accent blades. The pommel pops off so it can fit more easily into his grip (which is tighter than i'd like), and it has a magnet in it so it can attach to his belt.
